Species: Brazilian Short-Tailed Opossum (Monodelphis domestica)
Age: 2 years Date of Birth: May 20, 2014 Gender: Male Colour: Brown/grey Unique Characteristics: Soft brown/grey coat; white paws; bare feet, ears, and tail; opposable thumbs on hind feet; fully prehensile tail from which he can hang. Shorty is extremely docile and gentle with a mellow disposition, and he is perfectly comfortable with wearing costumes, being handled by strangers, and being in foreign, distracting environments. There doesn't seem to be anything that even remotely fazes, spooks, or frightens this little guy. Shorty is highly socialised with adults, children, babies, and other animals.
